About Us

Green Mountain Post (GMP) Films is a film and video production and distribution company. Our unique, dramatic, award-winning, independent productions have been broadcast nationally and played on screens at Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, and the Pompidou Center. They have also been shown at theaters, town meetings, colleges, community gatherings, high schools, boardrooms, churches, museums, and Congressional and legislative hearing rooms.

Our titles have been used as educational and organizing tools for activists working on environmental, peace, Vietnam, nuclear, veteran, and drug-related issues. We have also worked with corporations to create dynamic visual communications that meet their marketing and training needs.

Charles Light

Born in 1949 in New York City, Charlie has been involved in the film and video industry since 1973 when he co-founded Green Mountain Post Films (GMP Films), a production and distribution company. Along with partner Dan Keller, Charlie produced and directed many award winning films on nuclear power, the environment, the Vietnam War, art and politics, cannabis, peace issues and other topics.

Daniel Keller

Dan Keller has been producing and directing films and video since 1965. In 1973 he founded Green Mountain Post Films, which has completed over twenty five documentaries in the 30 to 60 minute range. He has also directed and produced video for the theater, television advertising, political advertising, and legal proceedings. Dan has an active community life, serving on the Finance committee of the Town of Wendell, Massachusetts, for 17 years, and now is a member of the Wendell Selectboard. He’s also an avid naturalist and organic farmer.
