GMP Films is a production and distribution company, most recently known for the award-winning film, Far Out: Life On and After the Commune. Other GMP productions include Lovejoy's Nuclear War, The Last Resort, Save The Planet, The Secret Agent, Unknown Secrets and many more. GMP's films have been screened in venues such as Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, and the Pompidou Center as well as town meetings, colleges, community gatherings, high schools, boardrooms, churches, museums, and Congressional and legislative hearing rooms.

A fifty year journey from Back-to-the-Land to Activism

To date, Far Out has screened over 150 times at almost 50 movie theaters. Bullfrog Films has now released the film for the home streaming video market, as a DVD, for community showings and educational distribution.
One of the most rewarding aspects of screening Far Out have been the lively and moving conversations afterwards. The film is a great vehicle for examining the past and for thinking about good trouble in the present day. Please continue those discussions in showings at your home–invite friends and family–and in institutional and educational settings such as colleges, libraries, community meetings. and political organizing.
